Invisible Children; doing it wrong, or just not perfect?

okay, gods damn it, retraction(kind of): the LRA/uganda kids/joseph kony video is by Invisible Children and there is a bunch of mixed info out there about how trustworthy a group they are. What the video said to me was : this man is at the top of the ICC’s most wanted list, a lot of people don’t know about him, he should be arrested; help spread the word on who he his. I agree with all that, and it didn’t ask me for money.
However, after looking through a LOT of arguments for and against the NGO the Invisible Children (better business bureau vs. charity navigator, emigrant ugandans both bitter and grateful, a group who seems to believe they are part of some U.S. military conquer africa scheme, and FINALLY a moderate view of an independent traveler who has been to the region) i finally reached this conclusion:
I think awareness of Joseph Kony should be raised, and he should be arrested. BUT they DO want me to buy their own posters to put up, instead of just independent signal boost. So i don’t know, don’t give them money, but this guy is horrible and should be stopped and i’m glad SOMEone is doing SOMEthing.

padbury:

“And suddenly, I looked at the bull. He had this innocence that all animals have in their eyes, and he looked at me with this pleading. It was like a cry for justice, deep down inside of me. I describe it as being like a prayer - because if one confesses, it is hoped, that one is forgiven. I felt like the worst shit on earth.”This photo shows the collapse of Torrero Alvaro Munera, as he realized in the middle of the his last fight… the injustice to the animal. From that day forward he became an opponent of bullfights.
